We Need Chrome on Mac

I have to restart Firefox 3 at least a few times a day to avoid having it eat most of my resources.  Take a look:

We need Google Chrome on Mac!  Why not Safari you ask?  I don’t like Safari’s interface all that much.  Perhaps it’s because I’ve been using Firefox so much?  I don’t know; there’s just something about it that turns me away.  Give me some Chrome!

    the same exact reason you turn from safari turns me away from firefox.

    the interface behavior is so ‘non-native’ to me and I was honestly hoping they’d fix it with 3.0, but it still irks me which is sad because firefox is so extensible.

    Chris, that’s funny that you and I have the exact opposite opinion. Haha.

    Max, it’s SOOOO fast, though! I admit I haven’t used it much, so maybe I’ll want to switch back to Firefox after a while.

    chrome is fast as hell, but after apple implements the new webkit builds, safari may be on par. is the special java engine proprietary to google or the webkit guys?

    I’m not sure, Chris. I don’t know enough about webkit and the java engine.

    I like chrome – esp dragging tabs out to create new windows. However, I’m addicted to tagging my bookmarks in Firefox – it’s sooo fast! And life without Firebug seems like a cold, hostile existence.

    Haha. Chrome has something similar to Firebug that it ships with. I think Chrome’s biggest downfall right now is that it’s not pluggable. However, I think that’s going to change soon.

    Chrome needs to two following featuers:
    Adblock (like firefox)
    and “start searching as I start typing” feature.
