		<description>I couldn&#039;t agree with you anymore about mammoth except for the tree riding... Mammoth is not known at all for its tree riding, although the stuff of 22 and 9 and amazing when it dumps.  Anyways, most of mammoth is above tree line... about 3/4 of the mountain is wide open bowls.  The mountain has a 3,100 vertical drop... this leaves about 800 to 1000 feet of vertical given the topography of mammoth.  Mountains such as beaver creek, vail, aspen, jackson hole, snowbird... have tree runs that are 2,000 to 3,000 vertical feet... much longer and sicker turns than mammoth.  I do love mammoth tho... by far the best mountain in CA.</description>
